Behardien started from a genuine love for accessories, personal style and the little details that make an outfit feel like your own.

The idea came from something we naturally enjoyed...coordinating our handbags with our socks and playing around with colour, texture and the way different pieces worked together. It was a small detail, but one that made getting dressed a little more fun.

From there, the idea grew into wanting to create a brand that had that same feeling at its heart. Something that felt considered but not too serious, playful without being over the top, and different from the usual handbag offering.

That became Behardien.
